If you disable auto update on your controller and pay attention to the release threads in the UniFi forums and only update when it's safe you'll be very happy. Many seem to not support Ethernet backhauls. It looked like the Ubiquiti AP Long range or the tp-link Omada EAP245v3 might work well. Also seems like the deco and asus xt are rated well. Curious what others are doing to get max throughout on their 1gbps connections. Unifi user here too.Problem: Routine firmware update on the Smart Plug left it in a Disconnected state. Even after a factory reset it wouldn't complete adoption and would end up Disconnected. Per UniFi forums problem may well be a known issue with the Smart Plug and having mesh'd APs on your network.This value is set to 300 on every other Unifi router and is much higher on most linux distributions. 30 is way to low, and I have to think it's a bug that they've set it this low. So here is the solution.
